Family Group Connections
The parent meetings of the past are gone......now we are having Family Group Connections!
These meetings are designed to connect families with the school, especially your child's teacher and classroom! The mission of Asheboro City Schools is to provide high quality learning opportunities for all students in a safe and inviting environment so that our students can become successful lifelong learners, prepared for 21st century global citizenship. The school system's vision is to see every student graduate.
Research shows that parent participation in a child's education, including school involvement is a key factor in the child's educational success. We want to help you continue your child's learning experience outside the classroom. We plan to share information on child development, how children learn through play, how important it is to read with your child and many other interesting topics. We are also here to answer your questions and connect you with the many resources available within our community!
These meetings are also an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents!
We look forward to seeing you every month,
Vivian & Adriana, Parent Educators
We hold one group connection meeting each month at each Pre-k location. Every family is encouraged to attend!
